This paint is really amazing to work with and gets the job done in no time at all.  After some prep work I got down to business, and “voila!” here is the finished product which I have already  taken down to my little boutique at the Amazing “Inside Avenue Antiques!!”

Hello and welcome to my blog!!

This week I started work painting (a la shabby chic style!) a vintage desk with my new favourite………Chalk Paint® by Annie Sloan! Below are a couple of before photos of the desk.

Rather nasty looking right…….not very pretty at all.  It just won’t do!!!

The colour I have chosen for this piece is “Paris Grey” which I will mix with some pearl plaster for the second coat to give it a lighter pearly finish.  After that I will apply a coat or two of Clear Wax ® by Annie Sloan for a soft satiny finish, and of course some glam by the way of glass hardware!
